Are you a driven and experienced Technical Manager with a passion for food safety and quality? Join our fast-growing, innovative manufacturing company based in Erith and take a leading role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

As the Technical Manager, you will be the guardian of our food safety, quality, and compliance processes. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll lead the technical and quality teams, oversee audits, manage supplier and customer relationships, and ensure full compliance with food legislation and industry standards.

• Lead the site’s technical and quality functions, ensuring BRCGS, HACCP, and customer requirements are consistently met

• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits (BRC, retailer, third-party)

• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and maintain up-to-date documentation

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions

• Liaise with production, NPD, and procurement to drive continuous improvement

• Proven experience in a similar technical/QA leadership role within food manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food hygiene, and UK/EU food legislation

• Auditing experience, ideally with M&S – internal and external

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
