Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, enhancing product performance, and strengthening the company's technical reputation across global markets.
Key Responsibilities for the Technical Manager
Lead the development, testing, and validation of new and existing products Support technical simulations, data analysis, and performance validation Act as a technical authority both internally and externally Drive development of new product lines and enhancements to existing ranges Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify innovation opportunities Support patent creation and technical documentation Support production teams in resolving technical and process challenges Oversee raw material compliance and supplier quality Work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain robust systems and standards Partner with sales teams to align technical development with market needs Provide technical training and support to internal stakeholders Manage and develop the technical team, including direct reportsThe ideal Technical Manager will have experience working within a manufacturing environment, used to dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will have strong technical knowledge and will have a passion for innovation and improvement.
