Profile – Technical Manager

Duties – Technical Manager

• Responsibility for all aspects of company Laboratory to ensure safe, cost-effective and efficient running
• Carrying out and reporting on test work and follow-up
• Selecting optimum company product for client duties and advising sales team and Proposals Manager on detailed technical aspects of enquiries
• Supporting Proposals Manager with sales or proposals activities, as required and ensuring client database is kept up to date.
• Answering clients’ questions and giving detailed technical support including on-site support for commissioning, testing and maintenance activities, as required
• Assisting project team with process engineering and technical support, if required, including Design Review and IOM manuals
• Supervision and management of any junior engineers within the technical department and responsibility for any staff or clients assisting in laboratory activities.
• Input into Research and Development of new products
• Development of existing products
• Compliance with all company procedures and HSE requirements

Experience/Qualifications – Technical Manager

• Experience gained in a technical role within an engineering, equipment supply or (preferably) a mining related company.

Candidates who are currently a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineering Manager, Process Engineering Manager, Technical Services Manager, Technical Operations Manager, Engineering & Technical Manager, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead and Test Engineering Manager could be suitable for this role.
