Technical Manager

Our client is looking for a Technical Manager with a housing construction back ground

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the technical delivery of a number of residential developments.

The successful candidate will manage projects from pre-acquisition and planning through to construction and completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.

The Role

* Managing the technical delivery of multiple residential developments

* Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants and other design teams

* Reviewing and managing technical drawings, specifications and design information

* Supporting the planning, pre-construction and procurement process

* Ensuring designs are technically compliant, buildable and commercially viable

* Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the construction process

* Working closely with Construction, Commercial and Development teams

* Managing design programmes and ensuring information is issued on time

* Supporting the delivery of high-quality homes in line with company standards

About You

We are looking for a technically strong Technical Manager with experience within residential development or house building.

You will ideally have:

* Strong technical knowledge of residential construction

* Experience managing consultants and design teams

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

* A commercially aware and proactive approach
