Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + 10% bonus

The role of Technical Manager - Root Protection Systems will involve:

• Technical Manager position promoting a range of tree root protection systems
• Dealing with specifiers, consultants, designers, architects, civils contractors and councils
• Providing technical solutions to customer’s ensuring that they get the best product for their requirements
• Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects
• Present CPD’s (circa 8 seminars per month)
• Conduct site visits assessing the customers requirements and ensuring the project can be complete
• Instructing Engineer’s to carry out ground testing where required
• Regular liaison with internal sales team to book in CPD’s and client visits
• Offering technical advice to the sales team to assist with the raising of quotations

The ideal applicant will be Technical Manager - Root Protection Systems with:

• Must have sound technical knowledge of arboriculture, civils or groundworks
• Must have experience in a field based position managing your own diary
• Ideally experience in ground reinforcement products such as geomembranes, grass/gravel reinforcements, drainage modules, gabions, erosion controls & root protection
• Experience with dealing with specifiers, consultants, contractors and councils
• Familiar with specifications and specification literature
• Confident individual comfortable with presenting CPD’s
• Highly organised, motivated and driven
• Excellent communication skills written and verbally
• Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
• Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
• IT Literate
