Technical Officer

• Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days remote)
• Salary: £40,000 per annum plus package

Join a leading procurement organisation based in Uxbridge, specialising in services for construction projects and frameworks across the UK. As a Technical Procurement Officer, you will support the procurement team with your technical expertise, ensuring high standards in documentation and compliance across all framework operations.

• Support procurement with technical research and documentation for new frameworks.
• Draft technical tender documents and advise on contractor/framework changes.
• Conduct annual reviews of framework operators and lead operational framework management activities.
• Develop technical specifications and standards for frameworks.
• Prepare pricing schedules and evaluation criteria for tenders.
• Monitor and communicate changes in construction regulations across England, Scotland, and Wales.
• Support regional teams with cost validations and technical queries.
• Deliver training and share technical knowledge across internal teams.
• Develop training materials and present framework solutions to clients.
• Conduct site visits and manage document control and contractor competency assessments.

• Proven experience in construction projects
• Strong understanding of current building regulations and industry standards.
• Knowledge of new build, refurbishment, M&E, and fire safety works.
• Familiarity with construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Experience in procurement of goods/services in a construction context.
• Degree or vocational qualification in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to manage and present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
