Visit customers in their homes to carry out surveys, inspections and technical assessments. Prepare detailed specifications, schedules of work, cost estimates and technical drawings for adaptation projects. Provide technical advice and guidance to customers, colleagues, contractors and partner agencies. Manage projects through the adaptation process, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget. Carry out financial assessments and determine eligibility for grant-funded works where applicable. Monitor and inspect works throughout construction to ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety requirements and technical standards. Liaise with Occupational Therapists, contractors, architects, building professionals and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Manage contractor performance, approve variations and resolve technical issues during construction works. Evaluate and certify interim and final payments following satisfactory completion of works. Maintain accurate project records and update electronic systems and databases. Review construction specifications and costings to ensure quality, consistency and value for money. Carry out risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented. Support colleagues across the wider technical team as required.
