Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + benefits

Are you a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner with at least 2 years of experience looking for a flexible, remote-based role with a reputable financial planning firm?

We are recruiting for a leading Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) practice that is seeking an experienced Technical Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is a remote working opportunity, but candidates must be based in Manchester or surrounding areas, as occasional travel to the office will be required a few times per month for team meetings and training.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) - Essential

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a dedicated paraplanning role - Essential

• Based in or around Manchester - office attendance required a few times per month

• Prepare suitability reports for pensions, investments, IHT, and retirement planning

• Conduct in-depth technical research to support financial planning recommendations

• Use cashflow modelling tools such as FE Analytics, Voyant, or similar

• Work closely with Financial Planners and Compliance to ensure quality and compliant advice

• Maintain and update client records using platforms such as Intelligent Office (IO), Xplan, or similar (experience with these systems is useful but not essential)

• Support the annual review process and contribute to workflow improvements

• Ensure all advice meets FCA regulations and internal quality standards

• Technically strong with a deep understanding of financial planning and FCA requirements

• Highly organised with excellent report writing and attention to detail

• Able to work independently in a remote role while remaining team-focused

• Professional, proactive, and committed to ongoing development (support for Chartered available)
