Technical Paraplanner, Up to £60,000 (DOE), Offices near Hemel Hempstead, Full-Time, Hybrid

Our client, a highly regarded financial planning firm near Hemel Hempstead, is looking for an experienced Technical Paraplanner to join their collaborative and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a business that prioritises exceptional client service and team cohesion.
You’ll be working closely with Managing Directors, Chartered Financial Planners, Wealth Advisers, and Investment Specialists to provide high-quality advice and technical support to a loyal and growing client base.

Key Responsibilities:
Drafting detailed advice letters and suitability reports covering pensions, investments, and income drawdown
Preparing comprehensive review documents and content for annual client meetings
Creating accurate and insightful cashflow models to support financial planning recommendations
Conducting in-depth technical research for client strategies
Providing technical assistance on complex client queries
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless client service
Attending occasional client meetings (most meetings are held in-house)

Required Skills & Experience:
Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4 qualified)
Strong understanding of the financial planning process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Word & Excel)
Experience using industry CRM/back-office systems (e.g., X-Plan, Intelligent Office)
Comfortable taking meeting notes and liaising directly with clients
Familiarity with cashflow modelling tools

Desirable Attributes:
Experience supporting senior advisers or advisory teams
Strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments
Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex financial planning needs
Proven track record in producing bespoke, technically detailed reports
