Job Description - Technical Quotations Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quotations Coordinator with experience in manufacturing / mechanical / electrical engineering? Would you like to work for a growing business that really invests in its people and supports internal growth?

A well-established global business in the manufacturing and engineering sector, based in Bridlington, is looking for a Technical Quotations Coordinator to join their expanding Parts team.

Our client is a market leader in their industry, with a growing international presence and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to clients worldwide. Their continued success is driven by a collaborative culture and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and inclusivity.

What the Technical Quotations Coordinator job involves

In this office-based role, you’ll be at the heart of the quotations process for spare parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Using the internal ERP systems to verify parts and pricing details.
  • Liaising with suppliers for accurate pricing on parts.
  • Liaising with technical teams to identify alternative components when necessary for customers.
  • Preparing and delivering accurate quotations to customers.
  • Managing a busy email inbox with customer queries on parts and machine breakdowns.
  • Assisting with additional team tasks including order entry, stock picking, and despatch when required

Skills required

  • A solid understanding of manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering with a technical background
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • A team-oriented mindset and ownership of your workload.
  • Previous experience of understanding technical drawings would be advantageous.

  • Full time Monday to Friday
