Overview
Four Squared Recruitment is working with a growing and well-established business based in Droitwich to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer with experience working alongside OEMs. This position offers an exciting blend of technical expertise and sales support, assisting Area Sales Managers with capital equipment projects. With full training and a clear development path to becoming an Area Sales Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a technical sales career.
Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Work with Area Sales Managers to build strong customer relationships and support sales targets.
• Customer Engagement: Attend client meetings to understand requirements and present suitable technical solutions.
• Technical Input: Provide pre-sales technical assistance, prepare accurate quotations, and produce supporting proposal documents.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering and Sales teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Order Management: Track orders through to delivery and provide after-sales technical support.
• Exhibitions & Events: Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.
• Documentation: Prepare internal contracts and maintain detailed records throughout the sales process.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with OEM clients.
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (qualification or equivalent experience).
• Confident reading engineering layout drawings.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Desirable

• Previous experience in technical sales or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service ability.
