The Company:

Luminous Show Technology is a leading manufacturer of special effects hardware for live events, production companies, themed entertainment, and OEMs.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Technical Sales Executive to promote and sell our innovative products, whilst maintaining existing customer relationships and building new ones.

The Role:

In this role, you will be at the forefront of supporting and enhancing the company’s sales activities. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will manage all incoming sales enquiries to ensure that customers have a great experience when contacting Luminous and receive timely responses to their enquiries. You will work independently and alongside the Company Directors to create new opportunities for sales, whilst working with the rest of the team to ensure products and services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

An integral part of your role will be to manage customer accounts and act as a point of liaison between Luminous technical staff and the customer, whilst also managing the international shipping of items to customers and ongoing projects. You will also work closely with the Marketing Executive to deliver a cohesive sales and marketing strategy for the company.

Your responsibilities will extend to providing technical advice regarding our range of products and services, which will include after-sales support and warranty enquiries.

Additionally, you will be responsible for regularly reporting to the Company Directors in relation to sales completed, ongoing sales, new opportunities and lost sales. You will also work closely with the finance department to ensure that all sales are invoiced in a timely manner.

You will be required to support the promotion of Luminous by attending and/or exhibiting at key industry events and exhibitions from time-to-time, both within the UK and abroad.

This is a permanent contract and will be subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary review.

The Person:

Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably in the live events sector or related industry
·

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
·

Strong technical background with a good understanding of engineering principles and concepts
·

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth
·

Have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
·

Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise changing workloads
·

Willingness to travel,

sometimes internationally, for trade shows, events and customer visits
·

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, CRM and MRP systems. We currently use CIM200 & Sage200.
·

Degree level education
·

UK driving licence
