Technical Sales Manager – Imaging

Location: Field Based (UK)

 

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager with experience in imaging technologies to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of OEM camera markets, thermal imaging, and technical sales who enjoys developing customer relationships and driving business growth.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams to deliver technical solutions, identify new opportunities and support the full sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Sales Manager – Imaging

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts


• Build relationships with customers from engineering teams through to senior stakeholders


• Identify and manage design-in opportunities


• Provide technical and commercial support to customers


• Manage quotations, negotiations and sales opportunities


• Maintain CRM records and sales activity reporting


• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver solutions


• Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events

Key Requirements: Technical Sales Manager – Imaging

• Technical qualification or degree in Engineering, Physics or related field


• Experience selling imaging technologies, ideally thermal imaging cameras


• Knowledge of OEM camera markets and technical sales cycles


• Proven experience in technical sales or business development


• Strong customer relationship management skills


• Commercially aware with excellent communication skills


• Full UK driving licence

Ideal background: Technical Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar role within imaging, cameras, optics, photonics or related technology sectors.
