The Role - Technical Sales Manager - Sensors - UK
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales of sensor and electromechanical product solutions. This is a field-based role where you will work closely with customers from initial design stages through to commercial account management.
You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and delivering against sales targets.
Key Responsibilities - Technical Sales Manager - Sensors- UK
* Identify and develop new customers and target markets
* Grow existing accounts and build long-term customer relationships
* Promote and demonstrate technical product solutions to customers
* Manage the full sales cycle from design-in to order fulfilment
* Deliver against sales, margin, and performance targets
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports
* Stay up to date with market trends, pricing, and product developments
* Attend customer meetings, exhibitions, and internal sales reviews
* Manage your own schedule, appointments, and regional activity
About You - Technical Sales Manager- Sensors - UK
* Proven experience in technical sales or a field applications role
* Experience selling sensor products or electronic components preferred
* Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
* Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
* Self-motivated with a proactive and driven approach
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Engineering or Electronics background (degree or equivalent experience)
