Area to be covered: England & Wales - ideally based South East/ Midlands

Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 Neg. + up to 20% Profit Related Company Bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Manager - Water Storage Tanks will involve:

• Field sales position, providing the design, supply and installation of sectional steel water tanks and a range of water and wastewater storage solutions
• Selling into the water authorities (drinking/ wastewater industry) and main contractors
• Circa 50% of your time selling direct into water utilities and managing projects through the main contractors and other specialist contractors
• Remaining 50% selling into main contactors after stimulating the demand via the water authority/ water utility companies
• AMP8 regulations mean that all water utilities need to improve/ modernise their infrastructure, our client provides temporary drinking water or waste water systems whilst these projects take place (also solutions for repairs/ accidents/ damage to systems that may need immediate action)
• Project based sales can vary in size from £10,0000-£150,000 storage tanks (10,000 to 5m litre tanks)
• Sole dedicated field sales representative, you will be tasked with growing your own stand-alone division from current turnover levels of £1m

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager - Water Storage Tanks with:

• Must have sold into water authorities/ water utility companies
• Contacts within water authorities/ water utility companies highly advantageous
• Ideally sold storage tanks, but open to any products associated to the movement of water e.g. pumps, valves, fittings etc.
• Ideally 5-10 years field sales experience
• Must be a closer/ not afraid to ask for an order
• On the up in career, our client is looking at succession planning over the next 5-10 years
• Highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised approach
