Job Description - Technical Sales Representative

Technical Sales Representative - UK travel required

Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire | Hybrid options after probation

Circa 45k + OTE

Competitive salary, car allowance & commission scheme, uncapped

Knowledge of Industrial machines/tooling would be a distinct advantage.

The role

As their Technical Sales Representative, you’ll:

  • Develop and manage both new and existing customer accounts
  • Deliver engaging technical presentations and product demos
  • Generate leads, negotiate pricing, and close sales
  • Assist customers with technical queries and product installation support
  • Help train non-technical team members
  • Collaborate closely with our Sales & Technical Manager and UK team

The role will involve planned UK-wide travel, with office-based days at their Bicester HQ.

What you’ll bring

Experience in technical sales & customer account management
Excellent communication, customer service & interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities

Confidence explaining technical information to non-technical audiences
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
Team player with leadership potential
Willingness to travel across the UK (and occasional international trips)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience desirable (training provided)

An NVQ level qualification in engineering, welding, or fabrication is desirable—but we also welcome equivalent experience.
