Technical Sales Support

Overview:

Working with our client, a leading supplier of specialist equipment and systems for the plastic industry, we are looking for a Technical Sales Support to join their team to support continued business growth.

Remit:
This position will suit someone with a strong technical background within injection moulding and a good understanding of injection moulding machinery, tooling, processes and ancillary equipment
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and career minded injection moulding professional to progress their career and secure a new position with a forward-thinking company
Extensive training will be provided both in the UK and European HQ and there is scope for the right person to progress into a technical sales position in the future

Role:
As Technical Sales Support you will provide customers with technical support providing advice and solutions
Providing installation, servicing and technical support from the office
Conducting customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction and support with any issues
Work closely with the GM and sales team to provide sales support and after care for customers
Handle incoming calls from customers with queries and spare part requests
Carrying out internal admin tasks to support the sales team such as dispatch documents, purchase orders and invoicing
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working away from home occasionally

Experience Requirements:
Proven experience within injection moulding manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of injection moulding machinery, tooling, processes and ancillary equipment
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Full driving licence
Working knowledge of MS Office programs
CAD experience an advantage but not essential
Good problem solving skills with ability to think outside of the box
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Technical, analytical approach with a practical skillset
