SRG are working with a multinational company who specialise in the creation of speciality chemicals for a range of markets. They are now looking to add a Technical Service Chemist to their Fuel Additives Technical Service Team on a permanent basis, based at their site in Cheshire. This role will include applications testing of fuel additives using a range of techniques, as well as wet chemistry analysis to measure physical properties such as viscosity and density. Candidates with strong wet chemistry analysis are encouraged to apply, including recent Chemistry graduates as full training can be provided. Experience of analytical techniques used in the

Role / Description technical support related to the application of refinery fuel additives. technical service projects and providing data to support the business in a timely fashion under direction and priority. for maintenance and calibration of test equipment. testing according to standard industry methods, to support fuel additive application. and report technical information to the technical and sales team, as well as external customers in a clear and concise manner. to undertake customer visits to support and conduct trials as required. tests and collating technical response as required in support of customer tenders. laboratory areas safe and tidy according to local standards and carry out and risk assessments as appropriate.
