Technical Services Manager

Your new company
Our client are a leading FM Service Provider with contracts of varying size across the UK and internationally. They are hiring a Technical Services Manager for a newly-created role, to delivery technical maintenance services to an established client site in Crawley. This is a large, mixed-use site that has some critical infrastructure.

Your new role
As Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for hard services delivery to a large commercial site. You will directly manage a small team of engineers based on-site, as well as ensure operational and contractual commitments are met and exceeded in a safe, compliant, diligent, and cost-effective manner. Key duties will include:

• Leading on all aspects of hard services delivery - reactive maintenance, PPMs, critical systems, asset reviews and more.
• Line management of the on-site engineering team.
• Client engagement with stakeholders of varying technical expertise.
• First line of technical support for the site.
• AP duties for HV (leading shutdowns etc.) - prior experience is essential.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S and compliance as required.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in hard services delivery for large commercial sites with some critical infrastructure. You will also require:

• Very strong multi-disciplined technical knowledge (both electrical and mechanical).
• Relevant qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical etc.).
• Line management experience.
• HVAP experience - shutdowns etc.
• H&S qualifications desirable (NEBOSH etc.)
• Client engagement experience.
