Technical Services Manager – Residential Projects

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering large-scale residential projects across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual with a background in building services and residential developments to take responsibility for the technical delivery, coordination and integration of mechanical and electrical services across major projects.

The Role

Oversee the technical delivery of M&E services across large-scale residential developments.

*

Coordinate mechanical and electrical designs, ensuring they are fully integrated with architectural and structural requirements.

*

Manage technical submissions, design reviews, drawings and specifications.

*

Work closely with project managers, design teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

*

Ensure designs and installations comply with relevant regulations, specifications and project requirements.

*

Monitor design progress and identify potential issues before they affect programme or cost.

*

Support project teams throughout the construction, installation, testing and commissioning phases.

*

Attend design and technical coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a Technical Services Manager, Technical Manager, Design Manager or similar role within the M&E / MEP sector.

*

Strong building services background, ideally working on large-scale residential projects.

*

Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services installations.

*

Experience coordinating M&E design and resolving technical issues on site.

*

Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.

*

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
