Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Our client is seeking a Technical Supervisor to join their UV & Water division, reporting directly to the Division Business Leader. This role is pivotal in supporting their UVC water treatment technical operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of technical systems, processes, and projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning the company’s technical capabilities with their business goals, ensuring their products are designed and manufactured/assembled to operate effectively and securely.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee and support the technical operations related to UVC water treatment and other related products.

Manage and implement projects, ensuring alignment with the division’s goals and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to products, providing reliable solutions.

Provide technical support and training to team members, including those in sales, to enhance their product knowledge and technical skills.

Support the development and implementation of new UV products, from concept through to launch.

Produce accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) to produce detailed product drawings and assist with basic software programming tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Detailed knowledge and experience in UVC water disinfection, including understanding flow rates and UV dosage calculations.

Proven experience in project management and implementation within a technical environment.

Familiarity with relevant UVC water treatment laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues.

Experience with CAD and the ability to produce product drawings.

Basic software programming skills are advantageous.

Sound understanding of electronics.

Graduate degree preferred but not essential.
