Job Description - Technical Support Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Technical Support Specialist to join our team in the security industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder systems, and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support for customer inquiries and technical issues related to security products
  • Handle helpdesk requests and assist with test & returns processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical solutions
Qualifications
  • Technical-minded individual with a passion for the security industry
  • Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably within the security or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Day-to-day
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or chat
  • Collaborate with the test & returns team to troubleshoot and evaluate returned products
  • Research and stay updated on new security technologies and products to enhance technical expertise
  • Engage in continuous improvement by providing valuable feedback for product enhancement
