As a Technical Support Engineer you will:

About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Bits. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving software and app related bugs, that are reported by our cutomer support team. You will troubleshoot issues, debug problems, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via email, chat, and phone
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our products and services
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and address bugs and system malfunctions
- Document technical solutions and maintain a knowledge base for reference
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in software development
- Are highly proficient with Typescript and Node.js at least 5 years experience.
- Have 3+ years commercial experience with AWS (Api Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda etc)
- Deliver clean, maintainable and testable code
- Know how to integrate with third party APIs
- Have experience writing automated tests
- Are proactive, a builder (vs maintainer) and own everything you ship
- Have good conversational and written English
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience building SaaS products
- Have experience with IAC (AWS CDK)
Interview Process
- Home assignment
- A 1 hour life coding session and interview.
- 2x 15 minute zoom interviews (1 interview with HR and 1 with the CEO)
