£40,000 Basic | £50,000+ OTE + Company Vehicle

We're recruiting a Heat Pump Surveyor to cover the South East for a rapidly growing renewable heating business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Heating or Heat Pump Engineer who wants to move off the tools, using their technical knowledge to survey properties and ensure heat pump installations are designed correctly from the outset.

The Role

Carry out residential heat pump surveys across the South East

Assess properties for air source heat pump suitability

Complete room-by-room heat loss calculations

Size heat pumps and associated heating equipment

Assess existing heating systems and building fabric

Identify suitable plant locations and pipework routes

Capture accurate information for design and installation teams

Ensure proposed systems meet MCS requirements

Discuss installations with homeowners

Identify potential installation issues before work begins

Provide technical guidance to installation and project teams

Typically complete up to 2 surveys per day

The Candidate

Experienced Heating Engineer / Heat Pump Engineer

Strong understanding of domestic heating systems

Previous heat pump experience

Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing

Good understanding of building fabric and hydronic systems

Comfortable dealing directly with homeowners

NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent

BPEC heat pump qualification advantageous

Full UK driving licence

Package

£40,000 basic

£50,000+ OTE

The Opportunity

This is particularly well suited to a heating engineer who wants to come off the tools while staying within heat pumps.

You'll cover the South East, surveying residential properties and becoming the technical link between the customer, design team and installation engineers.

Heat Pump Engineer → Heat Pump Surveyor → Senior Surveyor / Design Engineer → Survey & Design Manager
