Technology Associate

Technology Associate - Insurance - London, City. £50-60k

The Technology Associate Role is vital in providing the technical and architectural guidance to the Business Agility and Business Stakeholders. This role will be primarily working with the Portfolio Technical Leads and spans across a number of initiatives within the portfolio.

With the Technical Leads to provide technology and architecture support for Regulatory, Risk & Group Functions portfolio initiatives.
Key architecture decisions for projects and aligning stakeholders to a proposed approach the architecture, key design decisions and approaches on assigned initiatives to key stakeholders, project bodies, relevant governance/ assurance forums including the Architecture Review Board and work with Product Owners, Product Analysts and Developers which help achieve the GRSI technology outcomes

2-5 years experience in IT architecture, digital delivery or technology consulting
Producing parts of and supporting the end-to-end architecture for a project, spanning disparate software and infrastructure components
Supporting key architecture decisions for projects and aligning stakeholders to a proposed approach
Modelling current and future state architecture design

This role would suit a candidate with 2-4 years experience

A good degree in Science, Maths is required; 2:1 or above
If candidates have done any certifications such as AWS, Solutions Architect that’s a plus
If they have any Agile experience this is advantageous
In this role the person will gain exposure to a range of initiatives; reg and risk (DORA, enterprise management, Procurement, Operations resilience); HR, Finance, ERM, Actuarial
Progression – 2-3 years they would look to move to a Tech Lead or Architect internally
Background, open for now but consultancy or Finance/Insurance is desirable
