Job Description - Technology Development Executive Hybrid Cloud & Edge
Location: Sheffield/ Manchester.\n\nInsight Enterprises is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator helping organizations accelerate transformation by unlocking the power of people and technology.\n\nWith a 35-year foundation in hardware and software supply chain augmenting our deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions to achieve extraordinary results.\n\nWe are looking for a Technology Development Executive to work within the Partnerships area of Insight.\n\nYou will proactively collaborate with clients, partners, and internal\n\nstakeholders cross-functionally throughout the EMEA region to provide specialist vendor solutions, and programme expertise underpinned by commercial excellence, as well as supporting the wider EMEA Partnerships team in the proactive generation and management of a sustainable pipeline, identify new client needs and market trends to develop new markets, and coach or, lead a team of Technology Development Specialists.\n\nSo, if this is of interest to you then we would be keen to hear from you!\n\n***This role we are offering is a Hybrid position; you will be expected to come into the office three times a week as part of your responsibilities. ***\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n\u2022 Generate new business, follow up on implementations, ensure client satisfaction, and identify additional opportunities by supporting account planning and review.\n\n\u2022 Build and maintain Cx level client relationships by ensuring the client is fully satisfied with the level of interaction and seek to enhance relationships with the account team \u0026 partner ecosystem.\n\n\u2022 Ensure deep qualification of client requirements and business outcomes to be able to shape solutions and respond to client needs.\n\n\u2022 Work closely with specified teams to develop proactive, measurable plans which align to Insight\u2019s strategic vision, grow market share, and land key value to partners utilising business plans and account plans.\n\n\u2022 Actively engage in the sales cycle by participating in client engagement/QBR\u2019s and facilitating on-site presentations, product demonstrations, value discovery workshops, commercial negotiations, and/or client immersion experiences.\n\n\u2022 Support qualification of client requirements and business outcomes to be able to shape solutions and respond to client needs.\n\n\u2022 Achievement against allocated financial targets, build and maintain accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and/or activities.\n\n\u2022 Provide regular reviews on activity and focus area is with continues improvement plans here required.\n\n\u2022Provide advice and guidance to the wider sales team to ensure they fully understand the Technology Solutions offered by Insight to create a broader knowledge and understanding.\n\n\u2022 Support the wider Partnerships team with the creation and execution of the business plan against defined milestones and metrics.\n\n\u2022 Forge close and meaningful relationships with vendors and distributors to ensure exclusive support on opportunities, allocation of deal registration, or allocation partner of record (or similar programme).\n\n\u2022Communicate new product developments and incentives to prospective and existing clients, and internal and external stakeholders.\n\n\u2022 Maximise profitability by understanding all appropriate funding streams or incentives available to Insight and utilising them to their fullest.\n\n\u2022 Conduct research to understand market trends and identify new markets and client needs, function as a thought leader through proactively sharing insights and perspectives with relevant stakeholders.\n\n\u2022 Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote products and/or solutions addressing or predicting client objectives.\n\n\u2022 Maintain relevant technology knowledge, professional knowledge, and required certifications or accreditations in line with subject matter expertise by attending professional/educational programmes and workshops, reviewing publications, and establishing networks.\n\n\u2022Support partnerships growth ambitions working in tandem with partner managers and solution sales teams.\n\n\u2022Support partner and Insight events, conferences, and other engagement activities to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.\n\nKey skills and experience required:\n\n\u2022 Previous experience of working in the IT industry and of driving growth in specialist areas of technology.\n\n\u2022 Deep knowledge of the Client landscape and technology trends.\n\n\u2022 Extensive client facing sales experience, wins client confidence and delivers presentations and/or demonstrations with professional authority and ease.\n\n\u2022 Confidence in leading regular business and/or technology reviews with clients and stakeholders.\n\n\u2022 Experience of mapping RFI/RFP requirements and client outcomes to technology solutions.\n\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of the partner product strategy and product offerings.\n\n\u2022 Evidence of successful performance to target in a sales or solutions environment.\n\n\u2022 A team player who can engage and work successfully within a mutually supportive, diverse team structure across multiple locations.\n\n\u2022 A self-developer, acts as a role model, invests time in their own development, and encourages others.\n\n\u2022 Experience in building relationships with technology stakeholders to help deliver innovation to the customer.\n\n\u2022 Ability to contribute to development of the strategy and take responsibility for delivering strategic objectives.\n\nAbout Insight: \n\nWe believe that by giving you the freedom to think big and empower you to reach your full potential, together we will achieve the best outcomes.
