Technology Evangelist – Data Centre & Cloud
Chippenham or Northampton – Hybrid after Probation
Up to £65,000 (£85k OTE) + Benefits

The Role:

As a Technology Evangelist, you will support customers across various solution areas, helping define and develop IT strategy roadmaps and key projects, interlinking the company’s core pillars. Your focus will be on targeting new and existing customers to help the business realize significant ROI. This role will evolve in alignment with market changes and trends, supporting all UK locations.

Responsibilities:

Assess, design, and present end-to-end hybrid infrastructure solutions to move traditional infrastructure to the cloud and/or hybrid environments, addressing customers' business challenges.
Architect, size, and configure solutions using available tools, supporting other specialists in a QA capacity for complex projects.
Actively demonstrate how technology pillars link, bringing in necessary resources for deeper technical discussions.
Showcase excellent whiteboarding and presentation skills to deliver business transformation and strategy discussions with C-suite level.
Deliver IT Strategy Roadmaps and Technology Plans that modernize customers' estates.
Drive larger-sized client business (key accounts) and complex infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
Align with 2-4 key vendors to understand

customer/technology

strategy, supporting customer engagements (e.g., Microsoft, HPE, DELL).
Collaborate closely with sales to promote a solution-first approach to new and existing customers.
Promote the value of the company within the overall business context.

Candidate Requirements:

At least 3 years’ experience in a Presales or Technical Consultant role.
Experience communicating with C-level personnel.
Commercial exposure and understanding of the following technologies:

Cloud infrastructure (e.g., M365 / O365)
Hybrid Solutions
Networking
Cyber Security
Server/Storage
Virtualisation
Backup/Recovery
