Tekla Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman/woman to join our clients design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models on the latest Tekla design software. Models will be created from a variety of starting points such as fully detailed engineers drawings, architectural drawings, site surveys and or from scratch for design proposals.

Responsibilities

* Create detailed 3D models to align with design intentions from the client

* Connection details for internal or external sign of

* Transfer site survey information into the 3D model

* Liaise with clients and third party engineers on design queries

* Ordering of materials from suppliers

* Create general arrangement drawings for client approval

* Produce production and site installation packages inline with our standard templates

* Work with senior draughtsman on model approvals during internal checks

* Liaise with production manager on fabrication queries

* Liaise with installation site supervisors on installation queries

Skills

* Experience in 3D modelling and detailing using Tekla software

* Ability to interpret architectural or engineering drawings into detailed models.

* Strong attention to detail

* Good communication skills to collaborate with different departments

* Knowledge in the creation of fabrication drawings

* Work as part of a team as well as the ability and confidence to work solo
