Position: Telephone Operator
Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $40–$70/hour
Location: US, UK, or Canada
Duration: 3–4 weeks
Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design questions and assist in training AI models related to telephone operations.
• Operate telephone switchboards and systems for various call types, including local and emergency calls.
• Update directory information and perform clerical duties such as typing and proofreading.
• Monitor automated systems for collect calls and provide assistance for special billing requests.
• Provide relay service for users who are deaf or hard of hearing and promote company products when appropriate.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years full-time work experience as a Telephone Operator.
• Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
• Strong writing skills and comfort with various computer applications and platforms.
