We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and telecommunications solutions—including fibre connectivity, mobile networks, enterprise LAN/WAN, server and storage systems, and structured cabling—across new and existing data centres. This role is pivotal in ensuring all connectivity and infrastructure services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards to support operational readiness and business continuity.

Job Description

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing a team of infrastructure engineers, architects, and specialists, providing direction, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

• Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure systems, ensuring they align with Colt’s goals and industry best practice.

• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to source hardware, software, and services, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships.

• Implementing strategies to monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimal downtime.

• Providing technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting in problem-solving and ensuring infrastructure solutions meet quality and performance standards

• Developing and managing the infrastructure budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

Skills & Experience:
•    Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure and telecommunications projects, ideally within data centre or large-scale enterprise environments.
•    Strong understanding of fibre optics, structured cabling, mobile connectivity (4G/5G), enterprise LAN/WAN, and server/storage systems.
•    Familiarity with civil works for telecom delivery (ducts, chambers, masts/towers, equipment rooms).
•    Knowledge of planning and regulatory approvals, engineering documentation, and compliance standards.
•    Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
•    Experience with construction site protocols and health & safety requirements.

Preferred Certifications:
•    PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
•    Technical certifications such as CCNA, BICSI, or similar.
