Job Description - Telesales Executive

Our client are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Telesales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for closing sales over the phone. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, maintain a positive attitude, and have a proven track record of meeting sales targets

Client Details

Our client is a UK wide energy company based in the West Midlands, who are currently in an exciting period of growth. As a result of this growth, they are currently looking to build their telesales team.

Description

  • Contact potential customers over the phone to promote and sell our products/services.
  • Follow up with customers who have expressed interest in our products/services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Update and maintain customer information in the company's database.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business
  • Be responsible and accountable for your sales performance
  • Contribute positively to the team to create a fun working environment

Profile

  • Experience handling a high volume of calls (over 100 per day) and successfully closing sales over the phone.
  • Minimum of 12 months cold calling experience.
  • B2B experience preferred, or experience working with limited data where data conversion is essential.
  • Candidates working remotely must have prior experience in high-performance telesales from home.
  • Must be a confident and assertive communicator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrates resilience and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and principles is important.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
