Telesales Team Leader Ilkeston £29,016 per annum | Monday?Friday | 8:30am?5:00pm | 40 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telesales Team Leader to join a well-established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Telesales or Customer Service professional who enjoys leading a team, developing people and driving both sales performance and exceptional customer service. You'll take responsibility for a direct team of approximately 8 Telesales Executives, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support while ensuring individual and team targets are consistently achieved.
The Role
As Telesales Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Telesales Executives Communicating departmental goals, targets and expectations Coaching/developing team members through call monitoring, side-by-side sessions, regular 1-2-1s Supporting recruitment, training, development, holiday planning, performance and absence management Monitoring team performance and identifying opportunities for improvement Ensuring the team is prepared for customer calls and able to proactively resolve customer queries, complaints and product issues Driving engagement with sales incentives and identifying missed sales opportunities Supporting daily team huddles and encouraging open communication and collaboration Implementing new processes and ensuring team members are fully trained on any changes
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have: A strong background in telesales and customer service Previous experience leading, coaching or developing a team Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills A good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to identify sales opportunities Strong IT and administration skills A commercially focused and solutions-driven approach The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results Experience working with reports and identifying performance trends Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience within a contact centre, customer service or similar environment would be advantageous Benefits
