Temporary Chef Manager Cover - Cramlington

Location: Cramlington
Duration: 1st September to 18th September (inclusive)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef Manager to provide temporary cover for a busy on-site catering operation in Cramlington.

This role is focused primarily on the delivery of high-quality food service, making it ideal for a chef with strong culinary and craft skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch menus
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Working alongside two full-time Catering Assistants
Managing and placing food orders as required
Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to
Completing daily temperature checks and food safety records

Requirements:

Previous Chef Manager or Senior Chef experience
Strong craft cooking skills are essential
Experience ordering stock and managing food supplies
Food hygiene knowledge and a proactive approach to kitchen management
Reliable and able to hit the ground runningThis is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced chef looking for a daytime role with no evening work.
