Temporary Credit Controller

We have registered an exciting opportunity with our exceptional client. Your focus will be providing credit control and administrative support to the B2B & D2C sections of the company.

Our client is seeking someone who can identify and resolve issues in an effective and timely manner.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start very quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Credit Controller Responsibilities

Some of your duties may include:

Process and post receipts from the company’s payment platforms into the finance system across all currency bank accounts.
Monitor and maintain control of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) payment platforms, ensuring payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Match and allocate customer payments against invoices and credit notes.
Manage Business-to-Business (B2B) credit control activities, including account administration and payment follow-up.
Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox, responding promptly and professionally to customer queries and payment-related enquiries.
Reconcile customer accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required.
Prepare and distribute month-end customer account statements.
Post bank receipts and accurately allocate payments to customer accounts.
Support the wider Finance team with accounts receivable activities and ensure accurate, timely financial records are maintained.

Temporary Credit Controller Requirements

To be successful, you will have previous experience within credit control and cash allocation within B2B, B2C and D2C.
Previous experience using SAP.
You will have a strong commercial focus and relish working in a fast-paced environment.
A positive can-do attitude and good Excel skills are a must.
