Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start, notice periods cannot be accommodated.
Temporary Events Coordinator Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Organising and coordinating in-person and virtual client events including workshops and webinars from inception to follow-up. Managing podcast logistics, such as scheduling, contributor communication and recording sessions, in close collaboration with the Podcast Coordinator. Supporting larger events with speaker management, sponsorship administration and liaising with suppliers. Providing onsite support at UK events to ensure professional and seamless delivery. Maintaining detailed documentation, attendance and post-event reports. Collaborating with internal teams, external partners and finance to meet deadlines and deliver high standards. Contributing ideas to improve event processes and enhance Aurora’s events strategy. Temporary Events Rewards
Between £16 and £19 per hour plus holiday pay, paid weekly via PAYE. 40 hours per week, working from Monday to Friday. Supportive environment that encourages initiative and professional growth. Proven organisational skills and experience coordinating events or logistics. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and virtual event platforms like Zoom. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines. Proactive approach and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn and develop the role responsibilities. Location Based in Central Oxford, with no parking available. Public transport or cycling is recommended.
