Are you experienced in working within a busy finance department? Do you possess strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively? Are you available to start immediately?

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to primarily focus on Accounts Payable. In this role, you will ensure that all payables are accurately processed and recorded. Additionally, you will be involved with payroll activities.

Invoice Processing:

Review and verify invoices for accuracy.
Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.
Ensure timely processing of invoices to meet payment deadlines.
Payment Processing:

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Issue and distribute checks.
Handle expense reports and reimbursements.
Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
File and organise invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Reconciliation:

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Ensure proper ledger entries and adjustments are made.
Reporting:

Generate reports related to accounts payable, such as aging reports.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
To be a successful Finance Assistant you must have:

Accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience of using Excel would be advantageous.
Confidence with the ability to hit the ground running.
A positive and helpful attitude.
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
