About the Role:

• You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging History lessons for a range of year groups, following the National Curriculum.


• You will create a stimulating learning environment that fosters students' critical thinking skills, historical analysis, and a passion for the subject.


• You will contribute to the continued development of the History curriculum, ensuring it is both challenging and relevant to students' needs.


• You will be expected to maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and implement effective pastoral care strategies.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of success in teaching History at secondary level.


• Excellent subject knowledge with a strong understanding of historical concepts and teaching methodologies.


• Engaging and enthusiastic teaching style with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


• Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
