About the Role

Office Angels are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in the Baildon/Shipley area of Bradford for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on an interim basis for 2-3 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable HR professional to provide hands-on support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Working closely with managers and the wider HR team, you will play a key role in delivering HR strategy, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and supporting managers with a wide range of employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Support the business to ensure all people-related activities are conducted in line with employment legislation and HR best practice.

✅ Provide advice and guidance to managers on a range of HR matters including:

Disciplinary procedures
Grievances
Performance management
Absence management
Flexible working requests
Maternity and paternity leave✅ Work with recruitment partners to support hiring activities, ensuring recruitment and selection processes follow best practice.

✅ Manage contract transitions for agency personnel.

✅ Support line managers through employee relations processes, ensuring HR representation throughout.

✅ Manage the site's absence management procedures, ensuring consistency and accurate record keeping.

✅ Maintain employee records, personnel files and produce HR documentation, letters and correspondence.

✅ Produce weekly and monthly management information (MI), reports and statistical analysis.

✅ Support and contribute towards the company's Health & Safety objectives and initiatives.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

✔ Previous experience in a HR Advisor role

✔ Strong understanding of UK Employment Law and current HR best practice.

✔ Experience handling employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management.

✔ Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

✔ Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

✔ Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills.

✔ Experience producing HR reports and analysing workforce data.
