Temporary Production Operator

Purpose Statement: Responsible for supporting a basic level of production with limited complexity manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner.\n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Operates tool/equipment/processes, clean parts in accordance with provided instructions as well as operate based on experience with limited or no instructions working in a clean room environment. Assists in the creation of instructions when none are available.\n * Understands and adheres to standard work, including quality policies, customer specifications, monitors own work to ensure quality standards, and communicates effectively with supervisors, escalating issues when necessary.\n * Maintain accurate time keeping, record keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records.\n * Supports improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment which includes improving safety, cleanliness, product quality and efficiency. This includes generating new and innovated solutions to complex problems.\n * Keeps up to date on all certifications and training requirements for the role, consistently completes assignments on time without compromising on quality, and effectively manages workload and tasks. Train others on all tasks if assigned.\n * \n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * A High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.\n * Three (3) year of related experience in electronics production/manufacturing is preferred.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\n * Basic Computer Skills.\n * Ability to adapt to change.\n * Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a cross functional team environment.\n * Good oral and written communication skills are necessary.\n * Attention to detail.\n * Ability to learn and be comfortable completing different tasks on a frequent basis.\n * Ability to execute sound judgement and demonstrate initiative\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n * Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of shift. \nAbility to frequently reach at waist and occasionally above head. \nAbility to carry up to 4.5 Kg (15 Lbs) and lift up to 20.4 KG (45lbs). \nAbility to use fine motor skills and occasional use of hand tools. \nAbility to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop. \nAbility to meet visual acuity requirements that are defined by defined industry certifications and customer specifications\n\n\n\nTravel Requirements:\n\n * N/A\n\n\n\nThis document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.\n
