Location: Holton Heath
Contract: Temp (1 month) with potential to extend
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: £13.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Purchasing Assistant to join their Purchasing Department. Our client is looking for someone to provide temporary support with the day-to-day purchasing function.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain or relevant administrative experience to join a busy team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Buyer with day-to-day purchasing activities.
Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and queries.
Monitoring outstanding purchase orders and following up with suppliers.
Assisting with supplier enquiries, pricing and quotations.
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Communicating with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements.
Supporting the team to ensure materials and products are ordered in line with business requirements.
Identifying and escalating any potential supply or delivery issues.
Providing general administrative support to the Purchasing Department.
