Temporary Secretary Responsibilities This position will involve, but will be limited to:
Managing the director’s schedule and diary, coordinating meetings and appointments to ensure smooth daily operations. Greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and managing incoming correspondence with a professional demeanour. Organising travel arrangements and preparing itineraries for the director’s engagements. Drafting, proofreading, and managing a range of correspondence, reports, and documents. Maintaining confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive information. Supporting the wider administrative team with ad hoc tasks as required. Assisting with event planning and logistics for internal and external visits or functions. Temporary Secretary Rewards
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically 9:00 to 17:30 with an unpaid lunch break. Flexibility to work around the director’s schedule is required, including the possibility of working on some Saturdays as needed. Temporary Secretary Experience Essentials
Proven administrative and reception experience in a professional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High organisational ability with the foresight to plan ahead. Strong attention to detail and methodical working style. Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management. Flexibility to adapt working hours to accommodate the director’s needs, including some Saturdays if required. Experience in supporting senior executives is desirable. Location Based in a scenic area with good public transport links and on-site parking.
