A well-respected Housing Association in South East London is currently looking to recruit a Tenancy Services Officer to start with them on a permanent basis.

Hours:                   35 hours per week

Duration:              Permanent

Location:              South East London

Salary:                   £40,000

Main duties of the role:

• Managing a patch of generic properties across South East London for a small Housing Association, ensuring people sustain their tenancies, this can be via the phone, emails and in person
• Dealing with instances of Anti-Social behaviour, finding solutions, being safeguarding aware at all times, and preparing findings for court if required
• Undertake regular estate inspections, monitor estate services, and complete fire safety inspections
• To maximise the Housing Association's income but collecting clients' rent arrears, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Working closely with internal and external partners to ensure a seamless and holistic offering to customers, including regular contact with the local Council
• Ensure all relevant information on clients is recorded accurately at all times, and deal with complaints in the agreed timescales
• Inform clients of any works that are to be completed and make sure these are done by contractors within the given timescales and to a high standard
• Work closely with other staff and contractors, adhering to health and safety policies at all times

Essential requirements:

• A minimum 2 -3 years working as a Housing Officer for a Housing Association
• Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
• A valid driving license and access to a car
