Terminal Engineer Responsibilities:
Leading and implementing engineering projects.
Enhancing business performance through engineering technology.
Developing specialist engineering knowledge.
Contributing to the development of Specifications and Departmental Bulletins.
Providing engineering and technical support using evidence-based problem-solving.
Designing and developing engineering solutions and communicating these to local teams.
Managing project scope and specifications with stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
Coordinating design and review activities and developing costed proposals.
Supervising contractors, consultants, and suppliers, managing operational changes, and ensuring compliance with expenditure control.
Terminal Engineer Essential Skills:
Thorough knowledge and application of Engineering Principles & Safety Management Systems.
Professional Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering qualification (min. Degree/HND).
Experience in project engineering and management through all phases.
Contractor management experience.
Cost management budgeting and control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with high-hazard process plants.
Knowledge of Process Safety and relevant industry and European/British Standards, including Pressurized Equipment, Vessels, Piping, Rotating Machinery, Fire Protection, Steam Systems, HV/LV Power, Instrumentation & Control, ATEX/DSEAR, Earthing, and Lightning Protection.
IT System competencies (minimum MS Office).
