Terminal Operator – COMAH – 12-month FTC

£39,000 - £41,500 plus benefits

Multiple Terminal Operators are wanted on a 12-month FTC basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidates will be accountable for safe, efficient and effective delivery of work Operations for plant equipment and a variety of different site stakeholders.

This is an initial 12-month FTC opportunity that includes a base salary of £39,000 - £41,500 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.

Overview of the Terminal Operator role:

• Complete all information for the documentation of the operations including stock records, logs, dispatch and collection records, tank batching records, as required.
• Issue permits to work, when trained and authorised to staff, site personnel and contractors carrying out work at the depot and associated facilities.
• Undertake planned maintenance, installation & testing of plant & relevant equipment
• Ensure the setup of pumping routes for the receiving, delivery and inter-site movement of various hazardous products.

Key skills required for the Terminal Operator role:

• Previous experience of working a variety of shift patterns and happy to work in a high hazardous/upper tier COMAH site.
• Good communication and computer skills to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Possess a real attention to detail with a good level of education.
