Job Description - Territory Sales Manager - Midlands

Job DescriptionDo you have a background in the enteral, nutrition or digestive health arena? Would you be keen on working in both the hospital (60%) and the community (40%) setting?If so, I am busy recruiting for a role across the Midlands region (both West and East Midlands) on a high value territory and one with huge opportunity.Company Overview:My client is a leading supplier of medical devices with a reputation for delivering high quality products and excellence in customer service, helping healthcare professionals offer best practice solutions to their patients.Your Experience:You will have at least 18 months solid medical device sales experience, with an excellent demonstrable sales track record. With account management experience, experience of selling at consultant and senior decision maker level is also essential. It would be advantageous if you had experience of the medical device field and working knowledge of procurement channels and NHS OM as well as local knowledge of procurement partners and a network of contacts to support your growth in the hospitals and community you cover.Responsibilities & Duties:Commercial:To achieve Objectives & KPIs as agreed with the National Sales Manager.To identify, develop and provide an excellent service to all customers.To introduce the agreed promoted products to the appropriate customer base.To provide high quality training, service, and therapy knowledge on product ranges to all customers.Actively prospect and record new opportunities and all activity in CRM.Maximise efficiency and productivity, particularly to optimise customer-facing activities within the designated territory.Plan and prioritise sales activities that drive customer engagement and progression of pipeline.Plan and prioritise to ensure delivery on all administrative duties.Liaise with company colleagues regarding contacts and business opportunities.Provide critical information and market intelligence that support the commercial team for tender processes.Provide cover for colleagues and customers outside of the designated Territory when required to support the needs of the business.Flexible to carry out any other tasks in accordance with departmental and organisational needs.Profile:You will have experience of medical device consumablesYou will have experience of the hospital and community settingYou will be interested in a consultative sale - you are naturally curiousYou will have the ability to work with pace and inject pace in othersYou will be courageous and ambitiousYou will either have or will be able to develop a strong sense of making a difference to the patients / end users.You are trustworthy and set high standards.
