Test Analyst

Ghana International Bank is a leading provider of specialised financial services to Africa’s growing companies and institutions, by leveraging our UK presence, client-focused capabilities, and strong relationships with global financial institutions.

We are seeking a Testing Analyst with experience in Temenos T24 functional testing,
particularly in Accounting & Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payments Hub
(TPH). This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of our core
banking system, working closely with stakeholders to define, implement, and execute
robust testing strategies. 

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement functional testing strategies for T24 Core
  Banking System, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Test Case & Script Development: Design, write, and maintain detailed test scripts and test
  cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Execution & Defect Management: Execute test cases, document results, and collaborate
  with development teams to track and resolve defects.
  • Business Coordination: Work closely with business teams, product owners, and other
  stakeholders to understand system requirements and validate test scenarios.
  • Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for test automation where applicable and
  contribute to continuous testing improvements.
  • Data Setup & Validation: Ensure proper test data setup and validation for accurate
  functional testing results.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Provide detailed test reports, document issues, and track
  testing progress.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and support teams
  to troubleshoot and validate fixes.

Requirements:

• Ability to coordinate testing efforts with business users and technical teams.
  •  Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in banking.
  •  Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  •  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in T24 functional testing, particularly in AA (Accounting & Arrangement Architecture) and TPH (Temenos Payments Hub).
• Hands-on experience with T24 tools such as TAFJ and TCIB
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, payment workflows, and financial product structures.
  •  Experience with test planning, test case development, and execution in a banking or financial services environment.
• Certification in Temenos T24 (Preferred)
