Test Bakery Lead (NPD Manager)

Unique opportunity to work with one of the UKs leading Food Manufacturers on 12-14 month long contract to help manage their Test Bakery. This is essentially an NPD Management role focusing on the project management delivery aspects working & supporting the UK Concept & Innovation Director.

This opportunity has arisen due to the current incumbent being seconded into another role within the group which is part of their personal career development journey.

This is a full time role, ideally we would need someone to be based in and around the West Midlands or Home Counties who is happy to work onsite on 3 days and 2 days remotely.

We are not essentially looking for a Bakery expert although this would be a significant advantage, my key focus is to have a passionate Food Science graduate, with 3-5 years industry experience looking to gain some invaluable exposure with NPD. We are only considering individuals from Food Manufacturing, either from an NPD or Technical Development background.

Ideally you will have either led a small team or at the very least delivered numerous products to launch within Food Manufacturing, it is essential that you have worked with UK retailers, this is non-negotiable. This is a 12-14 month contract, but a unique chance to work with a highly regarded food manufacturer who's culture around people & quality is second to none.

Salary for this is £50-70k dependant of experience plus pension & 33 days holiday, this is a Mon - Fri role, 40hrs p/w with a good degree of flexibility on how you complete your 40hrs, also flexibility on start/finish times.
