Job Description: Test Engineer
Location: Cardiff - Hybrid (3 days on-site & 2 days remote)
Salary: £39,000-£43,000 + 5% performance bonus

Overview:
Join our Customer Engineering team and be at the forefront of our automated testing framework for a sophisticated device management platform. This platform seamlessly blends diverse software modules with cloud capabilities. As a Test Engineer, you'll be instrumental in creating, documenting, and executing test plans to uphold the quality and dependability of our software suite.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scenarios for a robust device management platform.
- Oversee an automated testing framework for comprehensive testing of intricate software and cloud integrations.
- Conduct manual testing as needed.
- Contribute to enhancing the Continuous Integration (CI) environment.
- Maintain test documentation utilizing Test Rail.
- Produce test summaries and relay bug findings to the development team.
- Ensure optimal performance and upkeep of the CI infrastructure.

Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
- Proficient in creating test plans based on software specifications.
- Strong skills in writing automated test scripts using Java SDK for API testing.
- Hands-on experience with testing Java applications using tools like JUnit, TestNg, Mockito, and dbUnit.
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Selenium WebDriver.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including Data Driven Testing and Behavior Driven Testing.
- Understanding of API structures like XML, JSON, etc.
- Experience with UI test automation using JavaScript and Playwright is a bonus.
