Test Lead

About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Testing Lead to take charge of IT and BAU testing activities across our client. You’ll drive the full testing lifecycle — from planning and design through to execution and reporting — ensuring high-quality, timely delivery for all projects and business-as-usual initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of all testing activities across projects and BAU work.
• Collaborate with ICT, Business Change, and Project teams to define testing strategies.
• Plan, manage, and report on Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal and third-party test teams.
• Implement best practices, utilising both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Monitor quality, escalate issues, and drive defect resolution.
• Work flexibly across different sites when required.
• Support on-call and emergency response duties when necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background leading IT and BAU testing activities.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and approaches.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible, proactive approach to testing across a range of project sizes.
