Site Integration & Test Lead

About the Role:
A prestigious Aviation and Intralogistics/Material handling business is seeking a skilled Site Integration & Test Lead to oversee the seamless integration and comprehensive testing of a state-of-the-art automated handling system. This pivotal role will ensure the successful implementation and smooth operation of this critical system.

Responsibilities:
Lead the on-site integration team and collaborate effectively with suppliers to achieve project milestones.
Establish strong working relationships with client representatives, fostering open communication and trust.
Monitor and report on-site activities, identifying and resolving any integration or testing challenges promptly.
Develop and execute a comprehensive integration and test plan, meticulously coordinating all on-site activities.
Actively participate in project meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to decision-making processes.
Ensure adherence to project requirements and specifications throughout the integration and testing phases.
Manage the integration and testing budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Prepare detailed progress reports for internal stakeholders and the client, highlighting key achievements and addressing concerns.
Facilitate the seamless handover of the fully tested system to the operational team, ensuring a smooth transition.

Qualifications:
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the automation or material handling industry.
Proficiency in system analysis, programming, and testing of SCADA and PLC control systems.
Proven experience in conducting and coordinating on-site acceptance testing, including functional and integrated testing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
Proactive problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.
